The DAP Connect Program will help you diversify your social and professional networks. Too often we build personal and working relationships with others “like us”. DAP Connect helps you leave your comfort zone to meet individuals who are different from you, whether by race or ethnicity, age, religion, ability, sexual orientation or gender identity.
DAP Connect Members grow and diversify their professional and social networks while helping DAP reach more people and work toward more inclusive communities. Connect Members support our diversity and inclusion training sessions, our youth diversity programs, and our resources and publications in the St. Louis and Columbia regions.
For more information on the St. Louis DAP Connect Program, please contact

Discussions of diversity can frequently lead to focusing on one identity or another, missing crucially complex ways that we live our lives as fully human. The ways our different identities intersect create unique experiences that differ from our neighbors’. This DAP Connect Member-Exclusive session will provide an understanding of intersectionality and its application to everyday life. We will also explore how to apply an intersectional lens to our work contexts in order to create a more inclusive environment.
