Responsibilities

  • Configure and install intrusion detection systems and firewalls
  • Create technical reports and communicate test finds to senior IT leadership
  •  Collaborate with security team to perform risk analysis, vulnerability testing and security assessments
  •  Recommend improvements to system controls and levels of access
  •  Provide technical support, resources and education to employees
  •  Develop source code management and disaster preparedness procedures to safeguard corporate assets
  •  Assist with development of standards, policies and procedures to maintain network security
  •  Applies lean tools and thinking to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position

Role Specifics

  • Travel – Occasional overnight travel. Ability to independently travel as needed, without restriction, by all modes of transportation, including car, plane or train for industry meetings or conferences.
  •  After hours – on call rotation to support business needs

Qualifications / Requirements

We need you to have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field or equivalent Dot experience
  •  3-5 years of experience in network security
  •  Strong organizational, analytical, and planning skills
  •  Demonstrated problem solving skills

We'd like you to have:

  • Master Degree preferred
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  •  Professional certifications: CCNP, CISSP, CEH
  •  Experience with vulnerability and penetration
    testing
  •  Knowledge of firewall intrusion and detection
    protocols
